I have always imagned that Paradise will be a kind of library- Jorge Luis Borges The Cupertino Library is located in Cupertino's Civic Center complex and is operated by the Santa Clara County Library system. The library facility is owned and maintained by the City of Cupertino.

The Santa Clara County Library Joint Powers Authority is the governing body for the Santa Clara County Library. The library system serves the communities and cities of Campbell, Cupertino, Gilroy, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Milpitas, Morgan Hill and Saratoga and all unincorporated areas of Santa Clara County.

Getting to the Library

The Cupertino Library is much loved by the community. Due to its popularity, the parking lot at the Civic Center fills up quickly. While there is ample on-street parking around the library, alternative transportation is recommended when possible. Here are some choices:

  • Bicycling: There are bike racks in front of the library to park your bike. Remember to lock your bike(PDF, 210KB) .
  • Via-Cupertino: The City's community shuttle can take you anywhere in Cupertino, including the library!
  • Walking: Cupertino is blessed with great weather. Take the chance to get some fresh air and walk to the library.
