Registration

Members can sign up for new trips on the first day of registration at 8 a.m. Registration is on the last Monday (unless otherwise noted) of February, April, June, August, October, and December. Non-members will be able to sign-up for new trips one week after registration opens. Members may sign up another member, as long as that member is the person with whom they expect to sit with on the bus.

If you are unable to join us in person for a trip registration day, you may pick up, from the flyer rack, a trip reservation form. Fill it out in advance and turn it in with your payment to the Senior Center front desk. Trip reservation forms will be registered in the order that they were received, after walk-in registration is completed.

Waitlist

If a trip is full, please ask the front desk to add your name to the wait list. When cancellations occur, we will fill from the wait list in the order that names were taken. No money is required to be put on the wait list.

Trip Refund

No refunds are made unless a trip is cancelled by the Senior Center, or when cancellations are filled from the wait list. For individual cancellations, an administration fee of $10 will be assessed and the remaining balance refunded.

Health and Physical Considerations

Due to the strenuous nature of traveling and touring, it is vital to be realistic about your health and physical abilities. Many programs involve a high level of walking in variable weather over some hilly and uneven terrain, as well as standing for significant periods of time. There may be stairs to climb, and stairs are involved in boarding the bus multiple times during a trip.

You must be able to carry your own items at all times. We do not have staff available to assist you with any of these physical activities. Please do not ask other tour participants to assist you with these activities.

Day Trip Considerations

Bus seats for day trips are assigned in the order in which you have registered. For day trips, please leave your vehicle in the second or third parking lot. No smoking or drinking of alcoholic beverages on the bus, which includes the restroom. Please be considerate of your fellow travelers and always be on time.

Caregivers

Participants who have caregivers may have the caregiver accompany them to programs at the senior center. A caregiver is defined as a qualified and physically able companion to accompany a participant who needs such assistance and must assume total responsibility for their well being. The only time there is a charge for the caregiver is for a luncheon or trip, no day pass is needed.
