Due to COVID-19 the August 15th Environmental Day event has been cancelled. If you need to dispose of unwanted materials, please do so responsibly and see below for other disposal option resources in the community.

Disposing of Extra Materials: Donate or Use Recology's On-Call Collection program
Donation is encouraged for usable items, but if that is not possible, on-call pick-ups of material are available. Cupertino residents are eligible for two on-call collections per year at no additional cost. On-Call Collections can include bulky items, construction and demolition debris, compostable materials, and general garbage. Household Hazardous Waste
Household hazardous waste items are not accepted at our Environmental Recycling Days and should not be placed into your garbage, recycling, or compost carts. Household hazardous waste include items such as paint, pool chemicals, pesticides, household cleaning solvents, batteries, and fluorescent lights, which contain toxic materials and need to be collected for special recycling.
