Ready 95014 is an emergency preparedness mobile app that will help its residents to plan ahead and be better prepared for real life emergencies. Users can learn to build the preparedness kit by playing a fun, interactive game that takes them to various rooms in a home.  They can set up reminders to check the contents of their preparedness kit. Out-of-area contacts can be created in the app which will be very useful numbers to contact during a real emergency. App users can learn about local ARKs, storage containers which store important supplies and communication resources and serve as a gathering places for the community during emergencies. Users can sign up for Alert SCC to receive emergency notifications, listen to Cupertino Radio or browse Cupertino’s social media sites for emergency messages, city news and events.

Through the Cupertino 311 mobile app, residents can report issues in their neighborhoods to the city to address such as graffiti, potholes, and much more. The application uses geo-tagging to automatically capture the address
 where the issue is located.
