Resident First Responders

Making Our Community Safer & Stronger

When a natural or man-made disaster strikes, official emergency responders may not be able to reach everyone in need immediately. Residents involved in volunteer groups can provide the first line of assistance. With proper training, civilian volunteers expand the resources available to a local community.

Cupertino Citizen Corps is a network of volunteer groups that is essential to the City’s preparedness and resilience strategy. Harnessing the power of individuals makes our community safer, stronger and better prepared to respond to the threats of natural disasters, public health issues, crime, terrorism and crises of all kinds.

Join Citizen Corps

Make a difference in our community by volunteering to support local emergency responders, provide disaster relief and promote community safety.
