Hyatt House (KCR) Hotel

The development applications were approved by the City Council at their meeting on October 21, 2014. Building Permits for construction were issued in Winter 2016. Hotel is operating.

Location: 10380 Perimeter Road (Southeast quadrant of Wolfe Road and I-280) and 10150 N. Wolfe Road (tree removals and Perimeter Road frontage improvements only)

Project Description

The project proposes a 148-room, 5-story Hyatt House Hotel adjacent to the intersection of North Wolfe Road and Interstate 280. Additionally, a full service 2,500 square-foot restaurant, 2,160 square-foot meeting room, and 320 square-foot boardroom would also be included. Parking would be provided by a surface parking lot and a one-level underground parking garage totaling 156 parking spaces. In total, the project would be approximately 102,200 square feet above ground and 35,400 square-feet underground. Associated with the project are site and off-site improvements along Perimeter Road and removal and replacement of a total of 115 trees (96 on hotel site and 19 on JC Penney site).

 

Currently, the Project site is a parking lot at the northern edge of the adjacent Vallco Shopping Mall. A weekly farmers market is held on the lot on Fridays.
